ART PEPPER + ELEVEN Modern Jazz Classics (1998 Japanese limited edition 20bit 'XRCD2' Digitally Remastered 15-track CD issue of the of the 1959 album featuring Art working in a 'big band' format with full horn section over piano, bass & drums. This album ranks alongside 'Meets The Rhythm Section' as some of Art's best recorded work of the late fifties, if not of his career, that he only really surpassed with the exquisite soloing that characterised his 'miracle' comeback from 1975onwards & including Japanese insert, superb card digipack picture sleeve & complete with obi-strip VICJ-60245)
