JOHN LEWIS & BILL PERKINS Grand Encounter (Incredibly rare 1956 original US issue 6-track LP also featuring Percy Heath, Chico Hamilton & Jim Hall, hailed as the ULTIMATE in 'Cool Jazz', front laminated pasted picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear or edge scuffing & the vinyl has only a few light marks to show for its fifty years & plays without fault. This LP has come from the vast personal collection of a former Director of Blue Note & has been annotatedon the back as being part of his Jazz Archive - A true piece of Jazz history! PJ-1217)
