Tracklisting & More Information

This was the first release from the original classic Cooper band & their debut in the UK with abbreviated title versions of the tracks later to appear on Love It To Death as I'm Eighteen & Is It My Body. A Bob Ezrin production, it spearheaded their first mainstream album release after the less commercial Pretties For You & Easy Action. There was an optimistic release of Reflected as the first ever Straight single in the US in 1969, but this was where it really all started commercially for Alice Cooper. From this little acorn grew a strong sequence of classic releases, both album & single, before the original Cooper band finally imploded in 1974. The single was released as a test of the future commercial viability of the band by Warner Brothers, having recently bought the Straight label from Frank Zappa, and only if it sold well enough would they actually be allowed to record another album. It did and they did. The rest is history.
