| THE BEATLES Rubber Soul (1965 UK second issue 14-track
mono vinyl LP on the black & yellow Parlophone label with
'The Gramophone Co.' label credits and -5 matrices, front
laminated flipback picture sleeve. This prized pressing was
cut by EMI'sHazel Yarwood, who spent most of her days in the
company working on classical recordings and is touted by
some as being the best sounding cut of the album out there
with a perfectly balanced sound and outstanding dynamics.
See More Info for m**See 'More Info' for further details on condition** #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timeore information regarding this distinctive
rarity PMC1267)
Tracklisting: The sleeve shows obvious signs of age, with laminate peeling to opening edge, creasing/scuffs to edges, discolouration/residual sticker wear to back, with a perfectly legible spine.
The labels have spindle marks on both sides indicating that it has been played reasonably often with a small handwritten name (black ink in black) on both sides.
The vinyl shows a fair few obvious surface marks of varying intensity; there's a distinctive scratch from Think For Yourself to the end of Michelle but thanks to the quality of EMI's heavyweight pressings of the sixties these do not greatly spoil the playback, although a deterioration in sound is noticeable, with a few clicks & pops caused by scratches. The vinyl is graded G/G+ but plays higher.
The matrices in the run-outs read:
Side One XEX579-5
Side Two XEX580-5
