GRAHAM BOND with MAGICK Twelve Gates To The City (1970 UK wide centred 'A' label advance promotional vinyl 7" for the single release, also including Water Water, Vertigo company die cut paper sleeve. The vinyl on this copy remains in excellentcondition with just a couple of light surface scuffs to show fro over forty five years)
STATUS QUO Picturesque Matchstickable Messages From The Status Quo (Impossibly rare DEBUT album from one of the world's best known rock bands, here in their first psychedelic incarnation, which they were soon to discard in favour of their morefamiliar sound as the album failed to chart and the follow-up Spare Parts fared as badly. The acid-induced sound makes some good use of phasing and psychedelic whimsy vocals to give a very definite 1967-68 sound. The album includes covers ofSpicks And Specks and Green Tambourine as well as the original standout tracks Black Veils OF Melancholy and Technicolor Dreams as well as the well known Pictures Of Matchstick Men, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve has 1" of the reverse flipback missing on the top right, otherwise shows light general discolouration with a narrow yellow stripe where a tape reinforcement was applied [although this has preserved the opening edges wonderfully], with the front showing just a little creasing at the spine but nothing interfering with the images & the colours still bright & vibrant. The vinyl is has been professionally cleaned & playtested and has light paperscuffs with a little axial wear, leaving it still sounding great. This is the first copy we have ever stocked, we hope we don't have to wait another 30 years until we get another one again!)

Tracklisting: Black Veils Of Melancholy When My Mind Is Not Alive Ice In The Sun Elizabeth Dreams Gentleman Joe's Sidewalk Cafe Paradise Flat Technicolor Dreams Spicks And Specks Sheila Sunny Cellophane Skies Green Tambourine Pictures Of Matchstick Men
THE STRAWBS Dragonfly (1970 UK first issue 9-track LP with tan labels & lyric insert, textured picture sleeve. This, their second album, features both Rick Wakeman & Tony Visconti. Tracklisting: 1. The Weary Song 2. Dragonfly 3. I Turned My Face Into The Wind 4. Josephine (For Better Or Worse) 5. Another Day 6. Til The Sun Comes Shining Through 7. Young Again 8. The Vision Of The Lady Of The Lake 9. Close Your Eyes
