 | ROLLING STONES Songs Of The Rolling Stones (Legendary 1975 US
promotional only sampler vinyl LP. This LP was produced in 1975 to
promote the Abkco issues of the Rolling Stones back catalogue. It
features thirty edited versions of popular Stones songs. This amazing
rarity is housed in the stunning, orange toned unique 'Rock N Roll
Circus' picture sleeve which remains FACTORY SEALED from
new, therefore still mint & unplayed! MPD-1) See 'More Info' ...
Tracklisting: The audio content on this sampler album was reissued in greater numbers on a different promo only LP in 1979 with a different picture sleeve. This too is highly sought after by collectors, however it is this legendary sleeve which collectors crave above all else!
The versions of the thirty tracks featured on this album are unavailable on any other album (with the exception of the 1979 second issue)
The all important picture sleeve is rear pasted in design and made of thick card stock. The front of the sleeve features an orange toned picture of the band performing on 'The Rock N Roll Circus'. The rear of the sleeve is white with orange titles, tracklisting and 'Not For Sale Or Air Play' text. The edges are unscuffed with no shelf wear, rips, tears or discolouration - it's simply beautiful.
Fewer than fifty copies of this album are thought to exist so finding one in any condition is an achievement, however to find one still factory sealed like this one is nigh-on impossible.
There is one 4"-5" '>' shaped tear in the shrink on the back of the sleeve, but the back underneath remains as new & all four edges are still firmly sealed as they were nearly forty years ago.
Delay at your peril as this item is unlikely to be in stock for very long!
