A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...


ELTON JOHN Lady Samantha (1969 UK 7" vinyl single with intact three prong push-out centre, also featuring All Across The Havens, Philips company die cut paper sleeve. This was Elton's second ever single following his stint with Bernie Taupin as staff writers for Dick James, but by the summer of 1968 he had begun recording singles for release under his own name. Even though they were giving songs to other artists who had hit singles, neither of his own early singles on Phillips sold well. The vinyly on this copy remains in excelllent condition with just a couple of light surface scuffs to show for its forty years. A really nice copy of this very rare Elton release at an advantageous price! BF1739)
