SLAYER Christ Illusion (Rare official US limited edition 24" x 24" print, featuring the original controversial artwork for the thrash legends' ninth studio album by longtime collaborator Larry Carroll - Larry has also signed the work in black marker pen at the bottom. The image depicts a mutilated Christ & other nice gory bits, which courted controversy on release & an alternative cover was issued to conservative retailers who felt uncomfortable with this original design. Frame& display at your peril - this all adds up to be a must own for the Slayer fan!)
FLETCHER HENDERSON A Study In Frustration - The Fletcher Henderson Story (Original 1961 set of all four mono LP volumes in the series, a collection of sixty-four tracks by the influential Jazz leader, who had to wait in the wings whileBenny Goodman's recordings of his compositions & arrangements sold in their thousands. This four LP collection spans the years 1924 to 1938, from the end of the 'Flapper' period to the big dance band era, complete with fold out libretto with notes by Frank Driggs & each LP in its own front laminated flipback sleeve. The sleeves show just a little light shelfwear with some edge scuffing & all vinyl remains excellent, showing little sign of play. A fantastic set & a comprehensive collection of one of the lesser sung Jazz greats BPG62001/2/3/4)
