Abbey Road - Toshiba/EMI + Obi

THE BEATLES Abbey Road (Extremely rare 1985 Japanese Toshiba/EMI pressed 17-track CD that was uniquely mastered in Japan for their home market use & consequently exhibits very different & many still maintain superior sonic characteristics whencompared to the later pressings when the albums were remastered by EMI & issued worldwide. This CD bears the matrix number of CP35-3016 20A1, indicating a Toshiba/EMI press, with text below the EMI Odeon logo. This copy is complete with the original sixteen page Japanese/English lyric booklet & has 'Her Majesty' credited on both disc & inner sleeve. A genuine one owner copy, purchased in Oxford Street in London in 1987, this copy also retains the rare obi-strip. This wayward Japanese release is now highly sought after by collectors, for obvious reasons CP35-3016)
