The quartet formed in 1991, and was confined to regional popularity in Ireland until they secured the support slot Celine Dion's world tour. Their debut album Forgiven, Not Forgotten became an international smash hit around the world and elevated the siblings to superstar status. None more so than in their native Ireland where the record sold in it's million making it one of the most popular debuts from any Irish artist in history. The difficult second album Talk On Corners was released in 1998 to even bigger critical and commercial acclaim. After a brief time pursuing their own interest including Andrea's acting career which saw her alongside Madonna in the musical feature version of Evita, the group returned to the studio and produced a fourth album in 2000, 'In Blue'. Fans had to wait a little while longer for the next slice of the Irish superstars but when they band delivered Unplugged and the amazingly successful singles Radio it all proved worth the wait. 2004 saw the band return with the fantastic new album Borrowed Heaven again the album shot to the top of the charts thanks to the single Summer Sunshine which appeared to be on every radio station 24 hours a day.
