|Crowded House' self-titled debut didn't gain much attention upon its release in the summer of 1986, due to insufficient promotion from Capitol Records. After taking the more direct route of touring little clubs and low keys venues the album eventually broke thanks in no small part to the hit single 'Don't Dream It's Over'. Neil Finn's new songs were among his finest on the follow up 'Temple of Low Men', but the record lacked the immediate appeal of the debut. The British success of 'Weather With You' helped the bands third album 'Woodface' achieve platinum status in the U.K. Neil officially broke up Crowded House in 1996 following the relese of, 'Recurring Dream: The Very Best of Crowded House' which entered the U.K. and Australian charts at number one. Since then Neil Finn has had successful solo career and also revive his partnership with brother Tim. With over two decades of fantastic music to choose from, there is no shortage of back catalogue rarities, amazing memorabilia and quality collectibles, all available right here in our specialist Crowded House collectors store.
