DEEP PURPLE Fireball (Rare 1971 French wide centred 7" vinyl single on the Harvest label pressed by Pathe Marconi, also including Demon's Eye, housed in a unique matt card flipback picture sleeve featuring a black & white live image on the front with the track titles in pink. This 'one owner' copy was obtained from a former French music executive and aside from a pen annotation on the reverse panel the sleeve is graded Excellent with just a few signs of age related wear, and the vinylshows only light signs of play. DEEP PURPLE Fireball (1971 South African 7-track vinyl LP with 'Gramophone Co.' label credit, textured internal flipback gatefold picture sleeve with the Artone Press logo inside, also comes with the rare lyric insert printed with the matching catalogue number. The sleeve shows some shelfwear mostly to the edges, the insert shows only light signs of age but has no rips or creases. The vinyl is still in excellent condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for its forty years. A really nice example, if not mint, of this hard to find pressing especially with insert! The textured gatefold picture sleeve shows just minor shelfwear with a bit of scuffing and light edge/corner wear. The insert has a little little ageing/staining but remains intact and legible. The vinyl shows just a few signs of play, notably a couple of lightscuffs visible on Side 1, however after professional cleaning and play testing these remain cosmetic and there is no affect on playback.
