BENNY BELL Shaving Cream (1975 UK 10-track LP by the
singer songwriter famed for his risqué songs who first
recorded in 1929 and was re-discovered in 1975 when a
chance radio play of the title track of this compilation became
the most requested track in WNBC Radio's history. New fame
and regular play on Dr. Demento's Radio Show followed,
giving his career a whole new lease of life and he continued
releasing recordings well into the 1980s, often with plain
sleeves. The picture sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear
& the vinyl reains near 'as new' with few signs of play
