COUNTRY HAMS Walking In The Park With Eloise (Rare 1974 UK 7" vinyl single, the Country Hams is actually an alias for Paul McCartney! This is the original issue on the red & brown EMI label, backed with Bridge On The River Suite, picture sleeve. This little known and unusual Paul McCartney collectable was recorded with Wings in Nashville and features guest appearances from Chet Atkins and Floyd Cramer! The title track was actually written by Paul's father many years before, the B-side is a Paul & Linda original - Paul named this as one of his favourite songs when he appeared on Desert Island Discs in the early '80s. The sleeve has just the lightest of corner wear and is otherwise superb, the vinyl is near mint and looks barely played EMI2220) more...

Whilst Paul McCartney and Wings were recording in Nashville in the summer of 1974, the two tracks found on this single were recorded. Paul and Chet Atkins were chatting about their fathers and Paul suggested they record a song his dad had written. Features McCartney playing washboard, Floyd Cramer on piano and Chet Atkins on guitar.
