Jump In The Fire - 2nd Issue

METALLICA Jump In The Fire (Rare 1986 UK UNCUT test pressing of their iconic 'Monster' shaped picture disc, this is for the second issue with the barcode on the reverse, also including Phantom Lord [Live]. This was pressed using the un-used catalogue number P12-KUT-105 in run-out groove. This superb rarity has not been cut to the finished shape but remains as a 12" disc with clear surrounding the central image. Uncut picture discs are generally used as 'test pressings', a few are always made to check the image alignment & print quality before the final run is cut to the desired shape. These rarely appear for sale so we're pleased to offer this one!)

Uncut picture discs are generally used as 'test pressings', a few are always made to check the image alignment and print quality before the final run is cut to the desired shape and remains as a 12" disc with clear vinyl surrounding the central image.

Sometimes the image is different of has an error, as it is purely produced as a test. This copy is the correct image and is complete without any errors.

Condition
The clear vinyl has only a few very light surface scuffs and remains in a better than excellent condition. Early 1980s picture discs are known for having an issue with tea staining, this copy shows little discolouration and is still clear

These rarely appear for sale, so finding in any condition is a bonus.
