In this exhibition, photographer Kishin Shinoyama’s works are displayed in five sections: GOD (The Departed), STAR (The Celebrities), SPECTACLE (Dream Worlds that Take Us to Another Dimension), BODY (The Body Undressed – Beauty, Eroticism, Struggle), and ACCIDENTS (Disaster 11 March 2011 – Portraits of Victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake). Handpicked by the photographer himself, including a work towering over 8 m high, the works are shown at a scale that rewrites the books for photography exhibitions.
