JOHNNY HODGES Blue Hodge (Sealed 1961 US 10-track mono vinyl LP, one of the first Verve albums to move Johnny Hodges away from Ellington & more into the soul jazz mode that served him so well as a leader in the sixties, recorded with Wild Bill Davis [organ], Sam Jones [bass], Louis Hayes [drums], & the great Les Spann on guitar & flute, pasted picture sleeve with deletion drill-hole bottom left. This incredible collector's copy remains sealed from new over half a century onin the original custom stickered shrink. There is just a small split in the shrink top right from historic price sticker removal, still unopened & unplayed V-8406)
