OUM KALTHOUM Anta Oumri (1987 French 12" vinyl LP, picture sleeve. Kalthoum was an internationally famous Egyptian singer, songwriter, and film actress active from the 1920s to the 1970s - she is said to be so central to the Egyptian identityshe was nick-named 'the fourth pyramid'. Musically she was adventurous too often repeating a single line or stance over and over, subtly altering the emotive emphasis and intensity and exploring one or various musical modal scales. The sleeveshows very little wear and although there are a few light scuffs/blemishes visible these do not affect play SC22104)
