Condition :-

There are examples out there of this LP selling well, when it finally does hit the market, with the cover torn in half, in a very sorry state or missing altogether. Never fear, we are only interested in offering the best of the best, & that is what you get here. This example is not far off the way you would have bought it back in the day.
The laminate is tight, clean & unmarked. Both panels appear majestic & there are no blemishes that stand in the way of the print. The spine remains near as new even. There are no signs of this ever having been a 'smokers copy'. A tiny spot of paper scuffing to the corners is easily forgiveable considering its delicacy, age & rarity. Just amazing & as good as it gets.

The heavyweight vinyl has received a deep clean on a top of the range Matrix machine & a careful play test. Playback is outstanding. The clarity & depth of Decca's recording quality at this point was premiership status [just look at the prices achieved in the classical world for Decca 'SXL' series records]. On a mono setting, there is no distortion or intrusive surface noise. There are no scratches or marks & just a little faint spindle wear by the centre hole label to indicate previous play. The vinyl is a very healthy, Excellent example & you will not find a better one.

This is Tubby's Groove = BIG recommendation.
