Background:
What makes this album unique is that the same nine tracks appear on each side, but each side is encoded by a different four channel method [SQ, QS, CD-4 & UD-4] in order for you to compare the different encoding methods back to back.
This means that the tracks featured here are not available on any other recording in the format they appear on three of the four sides of this collection.

Although the recording was put together & only available from the UK's Hi-Fi News magazine, disc one was actually pressed by Victor Co. & disc two by Nippon Columbia in Japan from UK master plates.
Limited to just 5,000 copies and with each copy individually numbered inside the gatefold this was just not the type of record to get purchased by anybody but long closed Hi-Fi shops and very serious Quad enthusiasts, so they seldom appear on the open market today.

Condition:
The sleeve on this copy shows just a little corner scuffing with minimal shelfwear and the vinyl remains near 'as new' with few signs of play.
