This astonishing collection came our way from the archives of a now closed US Radio Station, so the sleeves may have a little storage wear in places but the vinyl remains near 'as new' as it was only ever played the once and filed away.
When the Radio Station closed, they liquidated this archive of astonishing Radio Shows.
Extremely collectible on their own, this massive collection includes two end of year special double sets, a theme beds set, some cue sheets & a letter inviting the radio station to take part in the first ever Worldwide John Lennon Tribute
We have seen the eight LP 'End Of Year Special's sell on their own for well over £100 each & this collection includes two of them, with all the shows in between.
Presented by Casey Kasem or Shadoe Stevens, these 'American Top 40' Radio Shows had been broadcast since the early Seventies and have carefully woven themselves into US culture as a national institution.
We are very aware that this is a significant investment, both in terms of weight and possible freight costs, so we are pleased to offer this staggering collection at a bargain price.
