Way Out West - 1st - DG - red print p/s

SONNY ROLLINS Way Out West (Extremely rare 1957 first US issue 6-track deep groove mono LP on the black & yellow label with matrices ending -D2, recorded in LA in March that year with Ray Brown & Shelly Manne. This desirable edition is housedin one of the coolest jazz sleeves of all time, & here's the original - heavyweight, pasted & with the artist name & tracklisting on the back in red. This is a beautiful one previous owner copy bought new at the time. The sleeve is as close tonearmint as you'd like, with barely any paper edge wear & no seam splits. Both panels are clean & look majestic. The vinyl too is super clean with few signs of play; perhaps just the very lightest paper hairline not affecting play, & that is all. Highly recommended & one we are proud to bring to our market for the first time LAC12118)
