EMERSON LAKE & PALMER Tarkus (1971 UK 12-track vinyl LP on the pink rimmed Island 'palm tree' label, the supergroup prog-trio's second and musically ambitious album featuring the main title-suite and 'Are You Ready Eddy?' written by eminent engineer of the time Eddie Offord. The album also features a seldom seen E.L.P guitar solo by Greg Lake during the song 'Battlefield'. Housed in a classic gatefold picture sleeve with the fantastic William Neal painted artwork throughout. The sleeve is showing only light surface scuffing from storage/age and a little edgewear, otherwise remaining in excellent condition with legible spine print and a great condition inner spread. The vinyl within also remains in excellent condition with little sign of play. A great example of a key progressive rock recording over 40 years on ILPS9155)
