THE HOLLIES Romany (2014 Japanese only promo sample issue of the limited edition 22-track digitally remastered SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players], issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release. The twelfth album oiginally released in 1972, this edition includes Nine bonus recordings. Custom stamped inner rim on the disc, housed in a mini replica gatefold card LP style picture sleeve with lyrics and replica obi-strip, still sealed in the unopened & stickered resealable protective bag WPCR-15449)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
