THE CAKE The Cake (Rare 1967 German 11-track promo white Decca label LP, the debut release from this fantastic 60s girl group trio from New York, produced by Jack Nitzsche with killer arrangements from Harold Battiste [word also has it that Cher is a backing vocalist on a track or two]; unique fully laminate picture sleeve featuring different artwork to the UK & US release. The sleeve shows very little wear mostly on the edges and just light ringwear and, aside from a few very light paper scuffs, the vinyl shows very little signs of play. A stunning copy of this hard to find pressing, the first we have ever seen SLK86036-P)
