MILES DAVIS & THE MODERN JAZZ GIANTS Bags' Groove (Scarce 1957 US 7-track deep groove mono LP, on the classic black & yellow Prestige label with '203 South Washington... Bergenfield' address & RVG stampers in the run-out. Features both takes ofthe Milt Jackson tune, with Jackson, Thelonious Monk, Percy Heath & Kenny Clarke, then further recordings with Horace Silver & Sonny Rollins, brilliant post-bop with great attention to detail. This copy once belonged to Blue Note's Director of Publicity, & is stamped on the back as former property of its previous owner. The sleeve is tape reinforced top & bottom yet all text remains clear including the spine. The vinyl is a clean VG+ with just a few light hairline scuffs & faint marks not affecting play PRLP-7109)
