DUKE ELLINGTON In London 1958 (1988 UK only 21-track Special Release double LP by the Duke Ellington Society, featuring a live performance by the band recorded at the Gaumont State theatre in Kilburn on Saturday October 11th 1958. This lineupsaw the return of Johnny Hodges to the fold. The collection is complete with narrative insert & a unique picture sleeve. This double LP was only made available to members of the DES who attended the convention in Oldham, UK that year & was never available for retail sale. The sleeve shows minimal shelfwear & the vinyl is near mint)
