MILES DAVIS QUINTET Cookin' (Scarce 1958 UK issue 5-track mono LP on the Esquire label with 'RVG' stamped into the dead wax, starring John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers & Philly Joe Jones. Unlike most Equire covers, the front laminatedflipback picture sleeve actually keeps the original Reid Miles design (which you couldn't really better!). The sleeve has ringwear discolouration to the reverse and a crayon mark, but remarkably the flimsy sleeve is free from splits & tear, whilst the vinyl is graded Excellent with a few spindle marks & barely a trace of play on the actual vinyl itself - some enthusiasts even arguethe Esquire pressings sound better than the Prestige originals!)
