THE BEATLES Let It Be (Incredibly rare original 1970 UK 12-track LP box set also including the 160-page softback photo book 'The Beatles Get Back', packed with colour/B&W photos & text from the film which was never sold separately. The slipcase box, being VERY flimsy, has survived incredibly well. This rare box set was gifted to its first owner by pirate radio DJ Tony Windsor [Atlanta, Caroline, Radio London] and the Side 1 label has a 'Factory Sample Not For Sale' sticker attached asit was given to him for review purposes. Side 1 label bears the FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE sticker. This box set originated from pirate radio DJ Tony Windsor, who gifted it to the original owner in 1970. He kept it for 34 years before selling in 2004 to its last owner. We're pleased to finally bring this wonderful 'Factory Sample' example to the market for only the second time in its 41 year history.

Genuine first issue fully laminated picture sleeve, with red Apple logo on the back.

Plain white inner sleeve with PATENTS APPLIED FOR and MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN printed along the bottom edge.

The condition of the ever frail outer slip-case box lies comfortably within the top 10% of remaining examples. There is a crease to the front left edge, no doubt due to an enthusiastic grasp from its original owner over 40 years ago. There is evidence of a repair to the top left seam. The back of the box displays the text 'Designed by John Kosh Photographs by Ethan A Russell Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse Limited (Patents Pending)' along the bottom edge.

The outer tray remains in near mint condition. The inner tray, which holds the 'Get Back' book, has a 1cm split at the bottom right corner . The other three corners remain intact and strong.

The book itself has no loose pages, the colours are vibrant with a sheen that only 40+ years in hibernation can preserve.

A truly remarkable find with an interesting history!
