TYRANNOSAURUS REX / DAVID BOWIE / JOHN PEEL For The Lion And The Unicorn In The Oak Forests Of Faun (Amazing 1969 UK twelve page 10" x 8" tour programme for one of the early live concerts of Marc Bolan with Steve Took. What makes this one extra special is that they were supported by the legendary John Peel [an early sponsor of the band] & Marc's good ex-Mod mate DAVID BOWIE appearing as a Mime, with Vytas Serelis supporting on Sitar. The programme itself, apart from the photographic centrespread, is mainly devoted to Marc's lyrics. The last page features an advert for the poetry book 'Warlock Of Love' on the inside leaf & for the band's two albums & new single 'Pewter Suitor' on the back. Rare enough in itself, this programme has been AUTOGRAPHED inside by Marc Bolan & David Bowie. Bowie has also written 'To Judy' above his autograph, as this was collected on behalf of a thirteen year old girl by no less a personage than Keith Emerson, as a favour to someone that worked & was friends with his Dad. This is the incredible story that we were told as to its origin. In addition it has also been autographed by the late, great, John Peel & Sitar player Vytas Serelis inside. Free from any major flaws, this is also in lovely condition for a paper goods item of this age. Unique!)
