ELVIS PRESLEY The Truth About Me (Rare original 1957 UK HMV mail-order only 78rpm single sided 6" disc manufactured from shellac, originally available via the Weekend Mail magazine/paper. Featuring Elvis talking for approximately two minutes as a thank you to fans. The unique white labels with red print features the text 'Weekend Mail presents The Truth About Me exclusive by Elvis Presley', this example remains in the original mailer with the completed 'Please send me an Elvis Presleyrecord' address coupon attached, with the London post mark dated 14 June 1957!)

This disc has no real catalogue number but does have '13951' stamped into the run-out groove.

As mentioned this still remains in the original mailer, and shows minimal signs of age.

The disc has some light surface scuffs but we have played it and still sound fantastic with only a little light background noise.

For something that is sixty years old, this is a fantastic example.
