MILES DAVIS The Complete Columbia Album Collection (2009 UK Strictly Limited Edition 71-disc [70CD/1DVD] set - 2009 is an historic year for jazz music and Miles Davis in particular, also being the 50th anniversary of the album that signified the birth of cool, 'Kind Of Blue'. This stunning deluxe boxset comprises 52 albums on 70 CDs, with a raft of previously unreleased / rare audio material on 'Quiet Nights', 'At Plugged Nickel Chicago', 'In Paris Festival International De Jazz' and'We Want Miles', along with the first ever complete audio release of their Isle Of Wight festival performance on 29th August 1970. With a Bonus DVD including performance footage of the Miles Davis Quintet [Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Tony Williams] live in Europe in 1967 [the only footage of this legendary group commercially released]. Each disc is presented in mini replica vinyl jackets and comes housed in deluxe box complete with a 250-page book containing essays, rare photographs and memorabilia)
