ANTAL DORATI conducting THE LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA The Firebird - Ballet In Two Scenes (Rare original 1960 UK 'Living Presence Stereo' LP in Mercury's Olympian Series, a beautiful early stereo recording of Stravinsky's breakthrough orchestralpiece for ballet. The maroon Mercury label is factory sample stickered to one side as this copy was issued for review prior to commercial release. The vinyl is in glorious mint condition. All that detracts the front laminated flipback picturesleeve from reaching a mint grade is a small tear visible on the reverse; this is completely unobtrusive to the design and is otherwise immaculate. An astonishing copy! AMS16038)
