KASABIAN West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (2009 UK Deluxe Edition 2-disc [CD/DVD] album set - Written by Serge Pizzorno and co-produced by Serge and Dan the Automator [Gorillaz, DJ Shadow], 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' was recorded in Kasabian's hometown of Leicester and Dan the Automator's recording studio in San Francisco; and is a mash-up of towering melodies, electro-punk riffs and psychedelic lullabies, fused with Tom Meighan's searing vocals, Serge Pizzorno's bar-raising musical vision, Chris Edwards' driving basslines and Ian Matthews' galloping drums. Comprising of the 12-track CD album featuring the single 'Fire' and the previously downloadable 'Vlad The Impaler'; plus the Bonus DVD including live performances filmed at London's Union Chapel and Royal Albert Hall, alongside the music videos for 'Fire' & 'Vlad the Impaler' [which comes with additional making-of footage])
