MILES DAVIS On The Corner (Archive quality 1972 UK first press 4-track stereo LP on the plain orange label with A1/B1 matrices, drawing in influences from Indian & African music to James Brown & even Stockhausen! On The Corner features outrageous mixing techniques, heavybass grooves, wah wah, breaks, sitar, tape edits, courtesy of the masterful Teo Macero, & much more. Black Satin in particular is especially ahead of the game, & everyone from 23 Skidoo & Material in the eighties &Photek & Plug in the nineties drew influence from this incredible record, gatefold pocket sleeve featuring the beautiful Corky McCoy cover painting. The sleeve on this copy shows just very light wear, the viny is in MINT condition. Recommended)
