DON BYAS Savoy Jam Party - The Savoy Sessions (1976 US 32-track double LP, compiling a variety of sessions featuring a varied line-up recorded between 1944 & 1946, gatefold picture sleeve with extensive liner notes from Dan Morgenstern. The cover shows only minor wear or signs of age & both vinyl discs appear near as new. Rugged, full blooded, even erotic - naturally, Byas didn't play the saxophone, he played "the sexophone"!
