WHITE STRIPES Conquest (2007 UK limited edition 2-track 7" vinyl single - Originally written by Corky Robbins and popularised by Patti Page in the 1950s, 'Conquest' is a track Jack & Meg have wanted to cover from their earliest days together; setting a pit-heavy, bass-laden guitar against a mariachi trumpet to create a blistering nouveau flamenco number, which climaxes in an violent musical battle between Mexican trumpeter Regulo Aldama & Jack White with his fastest solo on record; including the exclusive b-side recording [co-produced with Beck] 'It's My Fault For Being Famous', presented in a sticker sealed picture sleeve)
