PINK FLOYD The Dark Side Of The Moon (Ultra rare 1973 UK first pressing 10-track LP with SOLID PRISM labels with silver lettering, Gramophone Co. perimeter text, black poly lined inner, two stickers & two posters. This example is within the hype stickered classic gatefold picture sleeve, which differs from later issues in that it has a single right-side pocket opening only and displays a distinct green colour tinge unlike the jet black print of later issues SHVL804)

Condition

The sleeve as mentioned above is the early version with just the back section of the gatefold open. These sleeves have a noticable slight green tinge, even has the circular sticker attached to the front. The inner left logo text is in blue.

This copy shows some light general shelfwear with a bit of edge scuffing and remains in very acceptable condition. The previous owner has carefully written their details in the inside but in black, so it's very difficult to spot.

The stickers & posters both display little wear & signs of age, but they are complete and intact. Like the sleeve, these are not crucial components and can actually be replaced fairly easily and cheaply as the second issue sleeve & accessories are identical.

This has A2/B2 matrices, but has no skip during the song Money.

The vinyl has obviously been played but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, with only a little light noticable surface scuffs & hairlines visible. We have professionally cleaned & play tested both sides, and can confirm that apart from a few light background pops and clicks, this plays through without any problems and still sounds fantastic.

Overall a very good example of this now very sought after pressing. These do not come up for sale very often, and this copy is available at a very advantageous price.
