Tracklisting & More Information

This album is legendary for many reasons, it was originally scheduled for release on 4th July 1969, however the UK release was withdrawn along with SAPCOR 7 which was going to be the Delaney & Bonnie album until released on Elektra/Atlantic, then the catalogue number was reassigned to the Trash LP, this too was withdrawn. The band then changed their name to Badfinger and after recording a McCartney demo and other songs for the 'Magic Christian' soundtrack enjoyed limited success.

The labels are Apple labels and feature the regular sliced and unsliced side with "Distribuzione EMI Italiana" text. Both the 3c062-90150 and SAPCOR 8 catalogue numbers are printed on the labels with no discernible spindle wear around the centre hole on both sides indicating very little play!

The matrix numbers have been machine stamped into the 'dead wax' area, along with the date 29-8-69:

Side One 90150-A
Side Two 90150-B

The dead vinyl between tracks is almost silent and plays without the crackle and hiss of an overplayed record. When taken in the context that this record has survived over 35 years in Italy, a solitary light mark is forgivable!

Housed in a superb front laminated picture sleeve with Apple logo and BOTH catalogue numbers on the front plus brief biography penned by Derek Taylor on the reverse.

An essential item for collectors of Beatles, Badfinger and Apple!
