ELVIS PRESLEY Wear My Ring Around Your Neck (Rare 1958 original Japanese issue Victor black & silver label 7" single with intact tri-centre. Still housed in its original Victor 'SS' Series yellow paper sleeve and complete with the picture inlay and full English lyrics printed on the back. The vinyl is VG+ condition; surface noise is audible but there are no skips or jumps. The picture inlay is Excellent, with no tears or edge creases at all. A wonderful addition to your collection!)

Elvis' Japanese 45s from the 1950s are incredibly hard to find and, more often than not, are in a pitiful state of condition when they do turn up. This copy is one of the best we have seen. Definitely not mint, with visible surface wear and audible noise on playback, but thankfully no skips or jumps on either side. The picture inlay is superb; made from very thin paper, these delicate paper inserts suffered from being easily torn or creased. The front cover image on this example is stunning, with vivid colours and no defects. The back has faded from its original brilliant white to a more off-white shade, with a few minor age spots and there are some light pencil marks down the right edge.

This copy is still housed in the original yellow die-cut Victor 'SS' Series generic inner sleeve, with secure flipback edges, no tears, splits, creases or discolouration - a perfect example.

The front picture inlay carries the famous HMV 'Nipper' logo, and interestingly bears two different catalogue numbers. The first, SS-1084, relates to this 45rpm 7" single. The second, S-351, relates to its 78rpm equivalent, as this single was released in the crossover period when both formats were available.
