THE DOORS Hits Kit (Rare 1981 US promotional-only Spun Gold Series 8-track FOUR x 7" vinyl box set, issued to promote the sale of 18 million singles. Each record is housed in a gold die-cut series sleeve [one in the 1980 "People Are Strange" picture sleeve from The Doors Greatest Hits collection], all kept in a custom 7" square picture box with compliments slip & a printed thank you letter on Elektra headed notepaper. The sleeves have curled slightly from the undersized box & otherwise the packaging shows very little of its years & each vinyl disc appears Near Mint)
